Contact and Non-contact Forces Lesson Plan

This is the second lesson of a "How things move" scheme of learning that I wrote for the new KS3 PoS. If you like this one then check out my "Weight on different planets" lesson on Teachable. The PowerPoint generates good discussion about pushes and pulls. The practical is good fun and fast paced if you use a timer (especially a whiteboard timer). Enjoy!

      • My class enjoyed this lesson. A great way to introduce contact and non-contact forces.

      • A complete, ready-to-use lesson with excellent instructions and a clear structure and learning objectives. The Powerpoint and activities don't necessarily have obvious answers, which is good for generating class discussion and promoting an investigative approach.
