Vitamin C Challenge for G&T Pupils
Biology , Health and Disease , Age 11-14 (KS3) , Age 14-16 (KS4 / GCSE)
I helped design and organise an inter-school science olympiad recently which we loosely based around the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I designed the chemical challenge which was based around pirates getting scurvy from lack of vitamin C in their diet. The challenge was a great success and I will be modifying it to use with a whole year group on a collapsed timetable day.
