A Powerpoint file comprising four interactive drag and drop activities to learn the first 20 elements of the periodic table, practice simple atomic configuration and common polyatomic ions. A bingo game where pupils have to match the name of the element to the symbol on their bingo card. Print off the bingo cards and dish out to the students in groups of 2 or 3. Use the Excel file to display random elements. Remember to click "Enable Macros" when prompted on Excel and click on the "Who will it be button" to generate a random element.

This is a game where students are presented with the name of an element and have to "shoot" the correct symbol. It is set in a space and the symbols fly towards the spaceship as meteors! Students have two minutes to shoot as many correct symbols as possible.
