The presentation looks at the slum, Dharavi in India. It is one of the largest slums in the world, full of disease and poverty. Plans have been developed to improve it, yet some of the residents don't want this to happen. The presentation explores the lives of the people in the slum, and asks children to consider the issues surrounding it. The list of questions can be used to prompt discussion.

Dharavi Dharavi is one of the biggest slums in Asia, with over one million people living there. The area that Dharavi is built on used to be a swamp until it was filled in with leaves, rotten fish and human waste.
