A highly animated, very visual presentation about static electricity and its uses. It covers all the basic principles, including the idea of an electric field. There is an animation to show how a gold leaf electroscope operates. Examples of uses of static electricity comprise spraying a car, removing smoke from factory chimneys, and earthing fuel tanks.
